Load Rapid Reading practice software on your laptop

SESSION TWO

 

 

Familiarisation with the Rapid Reading practice software

 

First practice session:                     Exercising your eye muscles

                                                            Reducing ‘regression’ or skip-back

                                                            Reducing the time to read word groups

                                                            Increasing size of word groups

 

Lunch

 

 

SESSION THREE

 

Second practice session:                Rapid Reading on screen

                                                            Rapid Reading the written word

 

Afternoon Tea

 

Self assessment of reading speed and comprehension.  Compare with your benchmark test from the morning

 

Set personal improvement targets and practice schedule for the next 3 months

 

Review of the day and key learning points
